Glowbeat has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or phone number. The data on our server is linked only to a random Player ID that the app creates on your device. You can have it deleted at any time.

How to request deletion

Option 1: in the app (deleted immediately)

1. Open Glowbeat and tap the gear icon (⚙) on the home screen to open Settings.
2. Scroll down to Player ID and tap Delete my data.
3. Tap Delete to confirm.

Your data is deleted from our server right away (an internet connection is needed). The app then switches to a new Player ID, so nothing collected afterwards is linked to the deleted data. Your game progress saved on your device (best scores, Volts, Neon City) stays on your device.

Option 2: by email (within 30 days)

If you can't use the in-app option (for example, you are offline or no longer have the app), email klynovate@exdonuts.com with the subject “Glowbeat data deletion” and include your Player ID (Settings → Player ID; long-press to copy it). We delete the data within 30 days and reply to confirm.

Because we don't collect names or email addresses, your Player ID is the only way to find your data. If you have already uninstalled the app and don't know your Player ID, we can't identify your data; it is then deleted automatically at the end of its retention period (see below). If you keep using the app after an email request, new data is linked to the same Player ID again; to prevent this, use the in-app option, which also gives you a new Player ID.

What is deleted

• Your install ID (Player ID) and its install record (first-open date, platform, region code)
• Gameplay events (play statistics such as scores, moves, lines, session length, game mode and settings changes)
• Crash and error reports
• Daily Beat scores (score and region code)

What is kept, and for how long

• Only aggregated statistics that cannot identify you (for example, the number of players per day) may be kept.
• Web server access logs, which contain IP addresses, are kept only for security and are deleted automatically within 14 days. We do not store IP addresses in our database.
• If an automatic backup made by our hosting provider still contains deleted data, it is overwritten as backups rotate, and deleted data is never restored.

Even without a request, data on our server is deleted automatically: gameplay events and Daily Beat scores after 13 months, crash reports after 90 days.

Advertising data (Google AdMob)

Ads in Glowbeat are provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data to show and measure ads. We don't receive or store this data on our server, so it is not part of the deletion above. You can manage it yourself:

• Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices: Settings → Google → Ads) → Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.
• iPhone / iPad: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off tracking for Glowbeat (or turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track”).
• Where consent is required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland): in Glowbeat, open Settings → Ad privacy to change or withdraw your consent at any time.
• Data held by Google is handled under the Google Privacy Policy.
